A) Which genre have you chosen and why?
My group chose the genre 'Thriller'. We chose this because it was a genre that we all had an interest in. Also, from the title sequences we watched, the genre we found more 'attention grabbing' was infact thriller. To add to that, thriller is a genre that is quite easy to recreate and easier for our group to produce.
B) Which title sequences, in the same genre, have inspired you and why? At least 2 examples.
The first title sequence that inspired us from the same genre was 'Se7en'. This was because it gave us a hint/idea what was to come in the movie. All the objects and colours in seven represent the genre and sets a tone and atmosphere in the audience. It already keeps the audience interested and has their full attention. Also the music played in 'Se7en' sounded very creepy and well suited the genre.
