The title sequence contains Location, Music, Credits that establish the production company (idents), Main characters, Genre, Plot beginning and Movie name. this helps to set tone and atmosphere to entice people to watch.

For example the title sequence for "Gone Girl" contained all of these features this helped set plot and gave direction to the viewer about the film. An example of an Ident which was presented in the film was "Regency Production" and "20th century fox".
